Shannon Duffy | Business Representative sduffy@unitedmedia guild.org
I began my career in the labor movement as an employee of Ozark Air Lines and a member of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers. From 1990-1995 I served as president of IAM Local Lodge 949, the largest local in the TWA system, with over 4200 members.
Leaving the airlines, I took a job with the AFL-CIO. In March of 2005, I was hired by TNG International and sent to Memphis, TN as a mobilizer. In September, 2005 I was hired to be the Administrative Officer of TNG-CWA 36047, then called St. Louis Newspaper Guild, known today as the United Media Guild.

Before coming to the Guild office, I worked at the St. Louis Post-Dispatch from March 1987 to November, 2005. Most of my years at the PD were spend in Classified Advertising.
As a Guild member, I’ve served as a shop steward, board member, treasurer, labor council delegate, mobilization and administrative committee member.
Jacqueline Simmons | Office Manager firstname.lastname@example.org
I came to work for the Guild in December 2006 as Office Manager after taking the buyout at the Post Dispatch in 2005, where I worked in the Payroll Department for twenty-four years. I enjoy working at the Guild; it reminds me of the old payroll department full of fun and laughter. I have two daughters and seven lovely grandchildren.
My hobbies include listening to music, basketball and traveling whenever I can.
